ABOUT US

We are Karen & Tim Chambers, husband and wife self taught folk artists. Tim uses his master carpentry Skills for all wood work and Karen uses her quirky artistic vision to create our whimsical folk art.

 

THE BEGINNING

Our folk art started out as a way to give creative handmade to family and friends. Everyone always said     " You should sell those chickens." So about 15 years ago we took that all or nothing step and set up shop for the first time at a local art show. The response was overwhelming and we have been traveling and selling our award winning folk art at art shows and festivals throughout the southeastern United States ever since.

 

FOLK ART

The most frequent comment we hear about our art is"Those kooky chickens just make me smile". Our response is always " Great.... that means we have done our job!" How fortunate are we that our colorfully fun, kooky folk art can bring a bright spot to someone's day.

 

Our bright mostly chicken themed folk art is... Framed Recycled Screen Paintings ~ Folk Art Chicken Gourds ~ Whimsical Paintings on Recycled Wood & Wood Panels. Each piece is hand created using recycled, reclaimed wood and wire screen and natural materials, wood & gourds. Acrylic paints & a clear coat to finish.
